Spiced yogi tea is a delicious, warning drink which will help to reduce excess kapha.
1/2 teaspoon dry ginger
4 whole cardamom pods
5 cloves
1 large cinnamon stick
a pinch of black pepper or pippali (Indian long pepper)
600 ml/1 pint 21/2 cups spring water
30 ml/2tbsp goat milk or organic soya milk
1 Mix the spices together in saucepan
2 Add the spring water and boil half the liquid.
3 Turn off the heat and add the goat’s milk or soya milk.
4 Stir and strain the liquid.
Serve hot.
