I am using my daily Sankalpa, not just for Yoga for my entire life.
The Sanskrit word Sankalpa. We can translate in very simple way of “good intention” or positive purpose or determination” I am being practice Yoga in this present life and Sankalpa became very important in each practice. When I have the intention to relax my mind and my body and set up my daily Sankalpa; all became ease and soft. My day flow and all my work and clients getting the benefits of my personal work. And of course that my personal life is in harmony with my entire existence. Yoga is more than physical exercise for me by weaving in a Sankalpa. In every asana I became more present and easy to relax my mind and opening my heart, feeling fearless and feeling safe; when I am having my Sankalpa.
An effective Sankalpa will be short and present tense. like for example:
“I am healthy”
“I am honest with me and others”
“I am opening my heart to the universe”
“I am going with the flow”
“I am present with the suffering of others”
“I am flexible from within”
“I am peaceful warrior”
“I am Namaste”
You need to keep your Sankalpa just for yourself as a very personal. Keep the energy with you and share the benefits of your Sankalpa. Before any Yoga practice please have a meditation.
Observe your mental state and your emotional conditions and set up your Sankalpa.
Before you start your yoga practice, sit for a brief centering meditation.
Relax your face, your muscles, relax your mind, and breath into the nose and out of the nose. Stay tune with your Sankalpa.
