Be good and doing good is priority in life.  LuzLife Lotus Studio is the result of years of studying and learning from greatest teachers around this beautiful Planet. And I keep training and learning to give my best.   The Goal of LuzLife is about you and how we can reach the goals.

To support and help the students to set up the personal goal and challenging times is the meaning of this place.  To see result not just about shaping and changing your body is about how we can be better with us and others. Meditation and Breathing technique is fundamental in our place.

For the last past years I am sharing my own path  and give the energies in each sessions.

Today I am learning from my own experience; what a unique journey;  I need to set up how we are working here.

How I can be successful?  I need To Be Clear like a WATER

To be around of good and energetic elements.  The Five Element for sure.

You need to read the Policy cancelation and be agree in what is all about.  Be clear like a water that is our goal today.

Mutual Respect is fundamental; we  need to be present with the place that we have today.  We are flowing, moving and growing in every single breath. We are Water most of the time.

LuzLife Lotus Studio have the own philosophy of Live, Move and Smile.

1.- Respect your teacher

2.- Pay before commencement of sessions; Clearing your pending payment is mandatory

3.- Stay motivated and be ready for Move; ask your teacher if you need it!  Feedback is always welcome and is honey for the mind and body.

4.- Be respectful with the equipments; Clean and organize equipment and apparatus after use; we have special organic and friendly with the Planet for this purpose

5.- Bath, use deodorant and no strong perfumes before sessions

6.- Wear clean, loose fitting clothing and wear sock just to be used at the inside of the studio or special Pilates or Yoga socks.

7.- Collecting your belonging and dispose of used towels provided by the Studio in the special basket after each session

8.- Reconfirm next appointment before departing.

I am very happy to share with all of you that great notice for our Pilates Community here in Qatar; now we are available to have a Group of Pilates Reformer Classes.

The Pilates Reformer is the best known piece of Pilates equipment. It is a bed like frame with a moveable carriage on which a person sits or reclines for resistance exercise or stretching. It is an excellent method of exercising without over stressing the joints while strengthening, shaping and leaning muscles throughout the entire body.

For best effect, attend a group reformer class. The student should have at least ten (10) private lessons from a Pilates professional for a personalized Pilates program that is focused on the individual requirements of each student.LuzLife Pilates can provide such personalized programs. Pilates Reformer classes will be conducted for up to 3 persons per class.

This class is geared toward those who already attend private lessons and want to work out at a steady pace with limited personal attention.

For hygiene requirements, please bring a small towel and clean socks – no gym shoes will be used. Prior to attending class, please bathe and wear deodorant, but avoid excessive perfume. Cell-phones need to be switched off at all times!

The original Eighth Avene Pilates Studio in Manhattan bore the first generation of Pilates Teachers and now meeting the with the Pilates Lineage in UK.

Joseph Pilates developed his work from a strong personal experience in fitness. Unhealthy as a child, Joseph Pilates studied many kinds of self-improvement systems. He drew from Eastern practices and Zen Buddhism, and was inspired by the ancient Greek ideal of man perfected in development of body, mind and spirit. On his way to developing the Pilates Method, Joseph Pilates studied anatomy and developed himself as a body builder, a wrestler, gymnast, boxer, skier and diver.

My own experience with Pilates is one of the best way to move and be present.

From 20th of October 2014 I am Introducing a Group of Pilates Reformer Classes.

The Pilates Reformer is the best known piece of Pilates equipment. After WWI, Joseph Pilates briefly returned to Germany where his reputation as a physical trainer/healer preceded him. Instead, he packed his bags and took a boat to New York City. On the boat to America, Joseph met Clara, a nurse, who would become his wife. He went on to establish his studio in New York and Clara worked with him as he evolved the Pilates method of exercise, invented the Pilates exercise equipment, and of course, trained students.

Meditation for quiet your mind

Low energy is something that can be solve with the practice of meditation for just fifteen minutes a day; at the beginning, then with practice and patience you will be able to be a bit more longer; starting in the morning the first meeting with yourself.

Practicing and being change and more positive and peaceful path.  Meditation is beneficial and easy to do; Meditation is just be at the present moment and from contemplation to concentration opening the channels to be able to heal.

The physical and emotional benefits of Yin Yoga and Pilates by Luz A. Lovern

Many injuries are caused by muscular imbalances within our bodies, also we injure our body when we tense or move without being present and fully aware of the movements.

And many things cause these imbalances, our posture, our breath, our emotions, our state of mind, the way we walk, bend over, sit, lie down, or work out, we sleep, we talk…  basically the way we move. Most of us move incorrectly in some way or another, which puts too much pressure on some muscles and weakens others, causing an imbalance, causing unnecessary stress and using the wrong muscles.

In Yin Yoga we put emphasis on releasing our Thoracic lumbar fascia, breathing, relax our mind and let our body talk and communicate with us; is magnificent the experience I have in my own physical and emotional rehabilitation after 14 months of ACS with Diseconomy.

The way that we move may put too much pressure on the spine, hips, while weakening the pelvic muscles in the front of the body.  Either scenario creates an imbalance, which means the body is much more perceptible to serious strains, pulls, tears or worse.

Yin Yoga and Pilates exercises promote an even musculature throughout the body by strengthening the Hips area, Sacrum, Core, Spine, upper limbs and lower limbs.  As a Pilates and Yoga Teacher always I like to think that our body is a Peace of Art, no matter what is going on with us at the present moment, we are a unique and we all have the capacity to embrace the present, we are ONE!  The Power House is considered the “center” of the body and consists of the deep abdominal muscles along with the muscles closest to the spine. And also as everybody know me I just redefine the Power House as a Unit and our entire body, mind and spirit.  You can read about that in my past post.

Working also with Yin Yoga principales helping to release the tension created by my own traumatic experience.  Realizing fiscally and emotional my entire humanity.  That why I give to Yin Yoga all the credibility because prepare your body for the Pilates as a Yang exercise.  As we know Yin and Yang are part of our inner Universe.  As the Universe is outside is also from within.

Al LuzLife Private Studio we works with all the Pilates equipment necessary for help to give the necessary energies to spinal and pelvic alignment, which is critical in getting us to move the way we are supposed to move to avoid injury.

Based on the approach to the principles of Pilate repertoire, breathing, core strength, an even musculature, also working with Fascia release and deeper stretching of the joins.

Another reason is that it provides a greater degree of flexibility than most conventional forms of physical therapy. This is true because Pilates and Yin Yoga exercises can be modified for each person and still be extremely effective. You can go from basic movements to very advanced, depending on how a patient needs to progress or how badly they are injured.  LuzLife Studio will take care of you.

Sitting tall with balance

LuzLife is introducing in her Studio the Balance Cushion to Strengthen Core Stability and to have happy spine.

As a Spiritual Fitness Instructor, I like to introduce and share with you our very own experiences in our private  Studio here in Qatar.  For weeks I have kept a e Balance Cushion in a chair and I asked to my students use it and to give feedback.  And the results are all good news!

All was agree that the balance cushion works to improve balance, pelvic floor and core strength and  the Power House,improving the posture.  So now I am making the Balance Cushion available to selected students to continue the practice in their own home.

Just sitting on balance cushion encourages active and dynamic sitting, helping to the hip and sacroiliac joints to decrease the tension. The Balance Cushion is placed directly onto the chair in your home or office or any place that you will be seating for long hours, which means that the body has to make continuous small movements to correct balance and correct our posture and release the tension that we create in our upper back, shoulder and entire body. These movements that we use are simple and efficient to help strengthen the deep core stabilizing muscles which provide postural support to the body, breathing with freedom and our mind is more present and we can be more connected from within.

am experiencing and testing the cushion myself to demonstrate that what the advertisements say is true and yes it worksIt’s also easy to carry, and has benefits similar to the medicine ball that you may have at home or your work place or maybe in your storage…

The best way to use a stability cushion to improve core strength and posture is to simply to sit on it for short periods during the day.  It is still possible to slouch when sitting on a stability cushion so it remains important to be aware of maintaining a good sitting posture.  That way we can avoid many injuries and misalignment in our marvelous spine, joints, and our entire body will get the benefit.
