Luzlife Pilates Total – Musculoskeletal  Issues

There are many reasons why using Pilates is effective for conditioning and rehabilitation programs with clients having Fibromyalgia or other musculoskeletal issues.

Luzlife Pilates is a low impact program that focuses not only on core strength and stability,  but also on the use of breathing and breath exercise, applying the principals of  J.H. Pilates and Luz A. Lovern.

Breathing oxygenates blood and increases circulation to all regions of the body also relaxing the mind.

Recent studies show that breathing incorporated in exercise can increase relaxation of muscles and with the result of reduced tension.

A strong tendency for those suffering from Fibromyalgia or other muscular skeletal imbalance;  is to “disconnect” from their body.

LuzLife Pilates’  emphasis is on the connection of the mind, body and soul and can show to be a huge benefit in daily life.

The goal here is to promote the ability to participate and move with freedom from stiffness and pain.

In a LuzLife Pilates program, there is no exacerbation of symptoms.

The result can be a greatly improved sense of well being.

For musculoskeletal issues it also allows for the improvement in articular mobility of the spine in a very gentle and supported journey to a healthy and better life.

There are no limits and there is nothing to fear.

Then order your PeakPilates  equipment from  MEFITPRO in Dubai.  If you want your complain to be “ignored”  then order from Mefitpro.

Take my advice and order only directly from the supplier for delivery via Aramex.  The prices are not doubles and the shipping cost are handles according to standing rates.

History of Pilates Method

150 150 LuzLife

History of Pilates

During World War I, Joseph Pilates, a German national of Greek descent, was interned in England, where he trained police officers beginning in 1912. A trained nurse in his native Germany, he was investigating ways that he could rehabilitate bed-ridden victims of the 1918 influenza pandemic. Thus he created a series of movements that could be practiced within the confines of this controlled environment. The Pilates Reformer (a piece of Pilates equipment) is based on an old hospital bed.

Instead of performing many repetitions of each exercise, Pilates preferred fewer, more precise movements, requiring control and form. He designed more than 500 specific exercises. The most frequent form, called “matwork,” involves a series of calisthenic motions performed without weight or apparatus on a padded mat. He believed that mental health and physical health were essential to one another. Pilates created what is claimed to be a method of total body conditioning that emphasizes proper alignment, centering, concentration, control, precision, breathing, and flowing movement (The Pilates Principles) that results in increased flexibility, strength, muscle tone, body awareness, energy, and improved mental concentration. Pilates also designed five major pieces of unique exercise equipment that he claimed should be used for best results. Although the two components are often taught separately now, the method was always meant to combine both matwork and equipment exercises. In all forms, the “powerhouse” (abdomen, lower back, and buttocks) is supported and strengthened, enabling the rest of the body to move freely.

Pilates practitioners use their own bodies as weights in training, to build strength, and flexibility. This is targeted without a focus on high-powered cardiovascular exercise. Today, Pilates is used in the rehabilitation process by many physical therapists. Pilates is an old approach to movement re-education that is becoming popular in the field of fitness and rehabilitation. The Pilates environment can be used as an assistive environment that optimizes the acquisition of movement with a reduction of destructive forces and can be used to progress individuals through more challenging movements that represent their day-to-day activities. Pilates’ focus on building core muscles and postural awareness are especially well indicated for the alleviation and prevention of back pain. Research and theories in motor learning, biomechanics, and musculoskeletal physiology help support the phenomena experienced by many Pilates-based practitioners; however, the Pilates-based approach needs to be subjected to the rigors of research to better evaluate its efficacy in the field of rehabilitation.

In recent years, many Pilates students have seen important parallels with the Alexander Technique, and the discoveries of F. Matthias Alexander. Pilates has been used to train dancers in flexibility and physical strength. The first official Pilates Studio was opened in New York in 1926. In recent years it has become a popular fitness modality, with many stars attributing their successful weight loss and increased muscle tone to Pilates.

In more recent years Pilates has been the subject of peer review research articles and is now gaining acceptance amongst the medical profession, even for conditions previously contra-indicated such as pregnancy. Adi Balogh wrote a substantial review article in the Journal of the Royal College of Midwives.

Also I have the experience and working in my own Rehabilitation program after Anterior Cervical Spine Fusion, and now after 4 months of surgery I was with my personal Spine Doctor at the Spine Institute at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Thailand.

He said to me that I was the indicate person to help in my own process of Physiotherapy.

Also expending quality of time with the Team of Physiotherapy for 3 weeks, and practicing and learning in situ.

Sharing experiences and acknowledge about Human Anatomy, I was giving the approach that how Pilates Method can help and how Yoga can help; all this blended with Loving Kindness

That was amazing news and encourage me to expand my experience and put all my energies to help and shaping the Spiritual Fitness of everybody cross LuzLife path.

Opening Chakras and energy your entire existence

150 150 LuzLife

What is a chakra? In Sanskrit, chakra translates into “wheel”. These “wheels” can be thought of as vortexes that both receive & radiate energy. There are 7 major energy centers (aka chakras) in the human body. They run from the base of the spine to the crown of the head.

opening-chakras001

Emotions, physical health, & mental clarity affect how well each chakra can filter energy. This in turn dictates how pure the energy is that’s emitted from different regions of the body.

As with all practices, it is best to be aware of, and honor your capacity. The example above is 30 minutes of Chakra Meditation – Bhuta Shuddhi, and 60 minutes in total. For some, this might seem like a short time. For others, it might seem like a long time. Practicing within your comfort level is far more useful than trying to strive for any goal. If you find a complete practice of 10 minutes serves you, then this is the right amount of time. Actually, it can be quite useful to simply move through the awareness of the chakras (up, then down) in a matter of a couple minutes, remembering the mantras along the way. Even a brief practice of Chakra Meditation of 30 seconds to 1 minute is quite pleasant and useful, and can be done often.

opening-chakras-002

Bhuta Shuddhi; opening and cleaning our chakras practicing meditation and chant. Yoga Nidra; is very helpful for this process in Yoga.

Luzlife-opening-chakras

Chanting for inner peace, In traditional Hatha Yoga, the 7 cleansing bija mantras associated with the chakras are:

“LAM” chakra 1 (root)
“VAM” chakra 2 (sacral/navel)
“RAM” chakra 3 (solar plexus)
“YAM” chakra 4 (heart)
“HAM” chakra 5 (throat)
“OM” chakra 6 (third eye/brow)
“OM” chakra 7 (crown)

The important here is have a open heart and practice meditation to purify and energize our chakras that will be reflected in our entire body. No one will be regrets and anyone can do this. Yoga meant to be universal and is come from long way to your heart.
